“I met a bride the other day and she really needs your help. You should call her.” That statement basically sums up how desperate we were to find a planner to help us plan our wedding. We didn’t have the faintest idea as to where to begin. We had a vision: something unique yet traditional, trendy yet timeless, fun-filled yet elegant. However we had no clue as to achieve this vision or really the time to devote to even trying.

Enter Elizabeth Priya Kumar, Wedding Planner Extraordinaire! Within the first two minutes of conversation with Priya, we knew she was the person for the job. She really “got” our vision from the instant we started talking. She told me something that I still haven’t forgotten. “Anyone can hire a bunch of vendors and put them in a room and call it a wedding. That’s not a wedding, that’s just a fancy party. A wedding is a union between two people, two families and it should be more. We need to tell a love story.” Everything that Priya and her Premini Events team take on, operates within that philosophy and it shines through in all of their work.

One of the most amazing things about Priya (and trust me, there are a LOT) is that she took the time to really get to know us and our personalities and subsequently infused them throughout our wedding weekend in the most elegant and distinctive way. This made our wedding not only beautiful and wonderful and all other things positive but OURS. We gave Priya complete creative control, from the tagline, to the theme, to the little intricate details and she did not disappoint. We trusted her completely. For that reason alone, we are thankful every day that she came into our lives.

But there is more. We have been to a lot of weddings and have always noticed how the bride and groom and their families are really stressed and worried about things starting on time, vendors setting up the way they are supposed to, the list goes on. We didn’t have to worry about ANY of that. We honestly didn’t really have to worry about ANYTHING. Priya and her team are the most professional around, and are very adept at taking care of any on-site mishaps that may occur, to the point that we didn’t even know about any of them, even if they had occurred. The best part was that this lack of worry wasn’t isolated to just the day of the wedding. We weren’t stressed out during the entire process! This is all a testament to how amazing Priya is at her job. You can tell its more then just a job to Priya - it's a passion. We had a fairytale wedding, and it’s all thanks to Priya and Premini Events. Trust us, you will not be disappointed. Not only did we get the wedding of our dreams but we have made a wonderful friend in the process.

Planning a wedding these days can be a very difficult thing, especially if you want to have a wedding that is going to be memorable, different, trendy, smooth, and breath-taking. Part of the reason it can be so difficult is because almost everything has been done already, and planning something out over a span of a couple of months without anything going wrong can be a very daunting if not impossible task. The best part about it, and I mean yeah it was perfect, but on top of that it felt like we weren't even stressed out about it during the process. The timeline Priya had given us never felt overwhelming at any point and from our point of view it was a breeze, just a testament to how well Priya knows her trade. She has a passion for what she does, and has a personality that glows with confidence. You managed to create the perfect day for our wonderful and intimate wedding. From the first day we met you, we knew you would be perfect! Your energy, enthusiasm and attention to detail took our intimate event to another level that neither one of us could even imagine possible. From the smallest suggestions and details to the big problems, you made it all so easy and enjoyable.

As you saw, our ceremony and reception were filled with special people that have been with us for a very long time - each of them representing a special part of our journey. You treated them as family and made each and everyone feel special. I thank you for that!

I always thought a wedding planner was a waste of money. As I started the planning process, I decided to meet Priya since I heard through friends that she was the best. But I was still skeptical. By the time I was done meeting her, not only was freaking out about the little details that I didn't think about, but I understood that I needed a professional to take control of my wedding so that I could enjoy it. I think that was one of the best decisions I ever made because she put out so many fires that I didn't even know about. She took control of all the vendors, stationery printing, getting decorators, theme and vision, and being on my ass to meet deadlines! She was able to politely tell people to shut up when they needed to, made detailed timelines and even made sure that my maid of honor wasn't getting too drunk...lol. We had exactly one month to plan an engagement party, from making the invitee list and choosing the menu to deciding the program.
