SHE’S A HUG, NOT A HANDSHAKE.

Elizabeth Priya Kumar is Founder and CEO of Premini, a Creative Director and Conceptual Visionary, an Event Industry Trailblazer, and a Professional Speaker. But to those who know her best, she’s simply… Priya—a loyal friend, a straight shooter, and great comedic relief for the soul.

For nearly 15 years, Priya has poured her heart and soul into shaping what would become the foundational backbone of her entrepreneurial journey. Built on a foundation of deep love for her family, she named her first company PREMINI—a fusion of her brother’s name (Prem) and sister’s name (Padmini), translating to "a little love." It's this very love that Priya infuses into every project, creating emotionally connected, extraordinary experiences. What began as a local wedding planning business has evolved into a globally recognized luxury event and creative agency known for excellence and precision.

With her signature fun and authentic New York spirit, Priya elevated PREMINI to new heights, blending modern luxury with a relatable, down-to-earth approach. Her work has graced the pages of top-tier publications including Vogue, The New York Times, Harper's Bazaar, Business Insider, BRIDES Magazine, The Times of India, Town & Country, Refinery29, TLC’s Four Weddings, and The Knot. In 2019, Priya was honored with the WIPA Wedding Planner of the Year Award and has contributed her expertise on numerous international hospitality committees.

Now, Priya and her team continue to captivate clients around the world with innovative designs and flawless execution, regardless of size, location, or complexity. Redefining the role of “event planner,” Priya is widely regarded as an Experiential Creative Director, known for her cutting-edge ideas and out-of-the-box thinking. She is a vibe creator!

Today, Priya is busy writing her highly anticipated book, traveling the globe for speaking engagements, and continuing to create unforgettable experiences for clients worldwide. When she’s not working, Priya enjoys quality time with her family and friends and exploring new cultures. As an empowered woman, her mission is to always give back which is why she mentors a variety of women in business because, after all, there’s always “a little love” to give,
